Day Nineteen’s Challenge:
Take a nap.
I think you’re really going to like today’s “challenge:” take a nap. You don’t have to do this every day, but you should give yourself permission to take a nap when you need to recharge. Whether it is a forty-winks quick nap or a couple of hours in the middle of the day – listen to your body.
Taking a nap doesn’t mean you’re lazy. On the contrary, it can help you to relax, increase your alertness, and improve your mood. Of course, there can be drawbacks too – grogginess upon waking and not being able to get to sleep at night. But if you keep your naps short you should minimize ill effects.
