Gratitude

Gratitude is the AttitudeDay Eighteen’s Challenge:
Write down three things for which you are grateful.

As we begin closing in on the 2/3 of the way done mark, it’s time to think about what we are grateful for. Today’s challenge is to write down three things for which you are grateful.

It can be a person, a situation, something you have, something you’re thankful for not having. Write it down and in your mind acknowledge your gratitude. I’m thankful for my family. I acknowledge their unwavering support and love towards me. Do not pressure yourself into coming up with “big” gratitude. It’s perfectly reasonable to be thankful that you got out of bed this morning. Three things – big or small – for which you are grateful, and this is going to become another daily habit.

Whether it be first thing in the morning or the last thing you do at night before going to sleep, this new habit will have a profound effect on your general happiness and well-being. Gratitude can help you cope with difficulties, it inhibits envy, and encourages kindness and other moral behavior.

You may have figured out that I really love worksheets – or at least writing things down in an organized manner. So, of course I’ve created a little worksheet to help you keep track of your gratitude from now until the end of the 30 Day Challenge.
