Declutter

Self-care: declutterDay Thirteen’s Challenge:
Declutter something.

I hope you are well rested, empowered, and ready to take on the world! At this point in the challenge, your daily habits should include: looking in the mirror, smiling, saying “I believe in myself”; drinking plenty of water; breathing when stressed or anxious; smiling at strangers; walking; and meditating. Meditating was yesterday’s challenge, so I realize that it will be a while working itself in to your routine. Not having time for meditating is the reason to meditate!

Onward to today’s challenge: de-clutter! Pick one area – small as your handbag or as large as an entire room. Empty is out (if possible), wipe it down, sort through the mess, and put back what needs to stay. If you have a lot in your life that needs de-cluttering – add this to your schedule as a regular thing. It’s amazing what 15 minutes a day can do – an hour is even better, but who are we kidding! On the other hand, you might be the type of person who can set aside a weekend and get the whole house or apartment done. That’s awesome – go for it!
